flying tree yoga, march 2023

Mi primera clase en Español con Esteban Beltran en Medellín, Colombia.

I received 130 hours of Continuing Education with Andrew Singer, 30 of which were specifically geared towards learning how to teach yoga in Spanish! I participated in this wonderful month-long internship abroad and am now integrating Spanish into my classes here in Boston.

power up Sunday at Fitness Hub, assembly row, 2020

After hosting a successful promotional event at Fitness Hub, the management team and I decided to independently collaborate and bring additional events into their 2020 calendar. Due to COVID19, Fit Hub and I were only able to host three events in their space until mandatory Stay at Home rules were set in place. These events included an hour of Power Yoga, post-class refreshments, prize giveaways, and special sales for private in-store shopping!

Boston social fitness festival, 2019

After teaching with CorePower since 2017, I was invited to lead class at the Mayor’s 4th annual Social Fitness Festival. I was honored to represent my community here in Boston! This was a free celebration in pursuit of encouraging movement, self care, and well being for all!

Somerville Sangha II, 2019

Kristina Grinovich and I teamed up again to co-lead an hour of Power Yoga followed by locally sourced refreshments, community (a.k.a. Sangha), art, and music! We all gathered at Warehouse XI and were joined by fun contributors and local artists!

Sumac Hunting with Aeronaut Brewery

Here’s a peek into a fun adventure with Aeronaut at Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA. We all got a first hand look (and smell) of the hop process and were able to explore the fields where quality ingredients are harvested. The volunteer team and I shared efforts in the summer heat as we picked sumac from the trees… ultimately to be hand-processed and served at one of Somerville’s most popular microbrewerys. It was nice to experience the beginning stages of a product that I enjoy with a community of fellow craft beer enthusiasts.

Camp Harbor View

I was invited to Camp Harbor View to teach some yoga for the inner city youth of Boston during their final week of summer camp- needless to say, we all had fun playing outside of the lines and off our mats!
